Company Description

Since 1972, more then 30 years in the imaging business we have experienced many changes in the marketplace. Changes built on a solid foundation of science and good practices making systems we have produced successful for many years. Our expertise and support enables our clients to move into the new era of imaging without sacrificing the investments they have made in the past.

Digital imaging and archiving is here to stay! With the advent of the Internet and the low cost of computers and storage, systems are now more powerful then ever before. Hundreds of Millions of images contained in a 2 foot X 3 foot space and available to a large number of people at one time. Imaging technology is no longer the expensive process it once was. Today, imaging is almost as common as the fax machine and getting bigger every day.

Archive and Microfilm are still here.  They represent the longest and strongest investment in ANALOG image storage.  Microfilm is known to have a very long shelf life, 100's of years long, if maintained properly. Many of our clients appreciate and still use microfilm as an archive media still today.  The difference is the way images are captured and stored onto microfilm.

In the past our clients would 'take a picture' of the page as it passed through the camera.  This was an original image based on the contrast of the image that was reflected onto the film. The film was black and white and poor images suffered greatly from improper exposure.  The problem was you could not see the outcome until after the image was captured.

Today images are captured 'digitally' through scanning.  The scanner can see all the contrasts and can adjust the image so the resulting image is absolute black and white. This important processes allows our company to then order and place the images exactly on the film where we want them and to see them before they are printed onto film.  The quality of the image is known before it is ever put onto film. Operators can rescan images at the scanner to improve or bring out any image with poor contrast or quality.
